I have just delivered assertiveness training to a mixed group. One particular participant had a concern with a colleague who constantly burst into tears when challenged or was given feedback. I used the appraisal skills DVD where Miranda deals with an upset colleague – the participant found this a very useful visual guide. She left the course with a constructive action plan and a vision in her head to support her in dealing with future issues.
